Being a Tourist in my Hometown

I've finally had time to take pictures again! Last week I was very busy, but yesterday I just wanted to grab my camera and take pictures of the Christmas decorations in my hometown.
I have so much more to learn with night photography and I can't wait to experiment more once I have a tripod for my camera!
I can recommend you all to play tourist in your own hometown (with or without a camera). There is so much more to see than just your local H&M! Today this is not on the pictures, but I'd love to do this one day.

Have you ever been a tourist in your own hometown?

  1. Yes, I used to live in a big city. So whenever we had visitors, we went sight-seeing. It was quite interesting because we wouldn´t have done it other wise. So I agree, being a tourist in your home town makes you appreciate its beauty even more :)

    1. So true! When I was really young we had a tour in my hometown about all the historical spots. I seriously forgot almost all of them and that's such a shame because my hometown has so much history!

  10. Great photos! I just moved to the NYC area--- so obviously there has been so much for me to do and see! I am a tourist practically everyday!
I love photography too! I try to work on my skills every chance I get!
I saw that you mentioned that you have a tripod. I would recommend that you buy a monopod as well. I spoke about it here: https://classiccosmopolite.wordpress.com/2014/10/23/my-monopod-manifesto/a
I think you would love it!
