The Hidden Passages of Paris

P.S. Ik heb je mening nodig! Meer hierover onderaan deze post.

If you think of Paris you think of course of the Tour Eiffel and the Arc the Triomphe. Perhaps you think of wandering next to the Seine and shopping at the Champs-Élysées. But what screams more 'Paris' than the famous hidden passages of Paris? Not much if you ask me!
A while ago I spent one of my free afternoons visiting a few of those passages. Most of them are all located in the discrict near the Opéra Garnier, a bit north of the Palais Royal. I walked from passage to passage, which are often hidden in between other buildings.
To be honest, I expected the passages to be prettier and more fun. But even though I was a bit dissapointed, I still want to write a post about it, because I sure don't regret that I spent a few hours on it!
Maybe by dissapointment also comes from the fact that I really had to go to the toilet, decided to drink something in a café in the neighbourhood (so I could go to the toilet there) and then found out that there was a standing toilet (and after seeing that I ran away as quick as I could).
Another new adventure. What do you think of these photos? Have you ever visited one of these passages in Paris?
P.S. I need your opinion! More about that on the bottom of this post.

Enkele passages die het bezoeken waard zijn / Some passages that are worth a visit:

Of nog een post zoals 'Things You Didn't Know About Paris/Parisians Before Moving There'?

Like I said, I would love to hear your opinion. What would you love to read about on my blog? I have a few more ideas, but I would like to hear yours! Would you like to see pictures in a specific theme? More hotspots like Frenchie and Le Hide? Or another post like 'Things You Didn't Know About Paris/Parisians Before Moving There'? I would love to hear it all! Let me know in the comments below, on my Instagram or on the contact form on my blog!

Kisses from Paris!

  9. More hotspots please! I love discovering new places through the eyes of my fav blogger girlies :)
Btw, I can't believe that café had a standing toilet...haha...I though that only still existed in more exotic countries. I still remember using them on holiday when I was a child. Back then I never cared much about it, though :D
