Goedemorgen! In deze post deel ik foto's van Funchal, de hoofdstad van Madeira. Funchal leeft van toerisme. Bijna alle hotels kunnen er rondom gevonden wonen en verder woont de helft van de inwoners van Madeira in Funchal. Bezienswaardigheden in en rondom deze stad zijn de botanische tuin, de tropische tuin, de kabelbaan naar Monte, de Mercado dos Lavradores, de Sé de Funchal (kathedraal), het museum van Ronaldo (geboren te Funchal) en een straat met gekleurde deuren. Enkele van deze bezienswaardigheden zijn al te vinden in andere posts!

In deze post deel ik graag de prachtige oude kern van de stad. Laat je me weten wat je ervan vindt?

Good morning! In this post I would like to share photos of Funchal, the capital of Madeira. Funchal is a major tourist town. All hotels can be found around it and half of the population of Madeira lives in this city. Tourist destinations in and around the city are the botanical garden, the tropical garden, the cable car to Monte, the Mercado dos Lavradores, the Sé de Funchal (cathedral), the museum of Ronaldo (who is born in Funchal) and a street with coloured doors. A few of these touristic places have already been published on my blog!
